Play a fun song like Under the Sea and have your child dance along while the music plays. When the music stops, ask them to pick an ocean animal and freeze in a pose that represents it. Use the cards that feature ocean animals like a Narwhal, Jellyfish, Great White Shark to help inspire their poses. This game helps children connect movement with learning and keeps them engaged in a fun way!

Ocean Animal Freeze Dance

Yoga
Shark Pose

Have your child lie on their belly and bring their hands together in a prayer position in front of their face (not on top of their head). Guide them to lift their elbows and hands off the ground, like a shark fin rising out of the water. Repeat this three times, encouraging them to show off their "sharkey teeth!" Next, have them extend their arms and legs, lift off the ground, and "swim away" from the shark. This playful movement helps engage their core and back muscles.
